Nana Aba Anamoah, host of the ‘Divas Show’ and a TV3 news anchor, dedicated her Female Television Newscaster of the Year win at the Globa Radio and Television Personality Award to 11 year old son, JY Paa Kow Anamoah.  The TV host mounted the stage with her son who was full of smiles as he watched his mother give an emotional speech about him. Nana Aba introduced the boy to the crowd as her son and explained how she went through difficult times, at the time she gave birth to him and how the boy has been a blessing to her life. She presented the award to her son on stage and said that he has been an inspiration to her. “I dedicate this award to you. I Love you”, she remarked before hugging the boy. Nana Aba also used the opportunity to advise young ladies not to give up in life when they come across challenges like teenage pregnancy and other problems and the neglect and stigmatization that come with it. She said they shouldn’t give up but rather see the challenge as a blessing in disguise and that if they are able to endure and overcome they will definitely make it in life. The TV host was however quick to explain that she was she is not endorsing teenage pregnancy. “Teenage pregnancy is very bad…”, she said.  ]]>
