Nana Ama McBrown spotted with Mum at ‘Hotel Babylon’ screening

Published

Nana Ama Mbrown and MomIt’s not very often that we see movie stars out and about with their parents in Ghana. Apart from Lydia Forson, who often hangs out with her mother at some public functions, most of these parents hardly get the chance to shine with their children. Actress Nana Ama McBrown was recently spotted with her mum at the screening of the new movie, ‘Hotel Babylon’ at the Maxlot Hotel in Accra. The actress pointed her mother out to photographers at the function and had some ‘Kodak moments’ together. Unlike Lydia Forson and her mum who share a striking resemblance, Nana Ama didn’t pick up much of her traits from her mum, whom many say look a bit like actress Karlsoune Sinare Baffoe. Nana Ama McBrown played the role of a prostitute in Hotel Babylon which also stars Ramsey Nouah, Roselyn Ngissah, James Gardner, Kafui Danku, Nana Hayford, Fred Amugi, Eddie Watson, Ebi Bright, Baby Blanche, Salma Mumin, Kaf Jr, Leo Mensah, Salima Massoud, Susan Narbor, Albert Adjah as well as musicians Bradez and Ephraim. It tells the story of a hotel and its guests attacked by a gang of armed robbers. With a tempting 5.000.000US$ cast at stake, the robbed gradually becomes the robber and the secrets that unfold are deadly enough to set the hotel on fire. Hotel Babylon premieres on March 17 at the National Theatre at 6pm and 9pm. Ticket goes for GHC 30 and GHC 50 and available at Joy FM, Adom FM, Accra Mall (Foto Store and Silverbird), Busy Internet and Legon Drama Studio. As part of the premiere, there will be musical performances by Rana, Ruff N Smooth, Obour, Okyeame Kwame, Edem, Eduwordzi, Ohemaa Mercy, Philipa Baafi, Bradez, Keche, Kwabena Kwabena, Kofi Nti, Yaa Pono, Lil Shaker, El, OJ Blaq, Akoo Nana, Mzbel, Diamond, Bisa, Apaatse and Gasmila.
