No Grammys for Wizkid this year as he loses out on both categories he was nominated in

Nigerian superstar, Wizkid will not be taking any Grammys home this year as he loses out on both categories which he was nominated in.

The 64th Grammys are been handed out today, April 3, in Las Vegas and the “Essence” hit maker has lost out on both categories.

Wizkid was nominated in the Best Global Music Performance — “Essence” (ft Tems) and the Best Global Music Album — Made in Lagos(Deluxe).

For the Best Global album Music Performance, Arooj Aftab won with his record “Mohabbat” .

In the Best Global Music Album category, Ms Angelique Kidjo beat Wizkid to it and won with her “Mother Nature” album.
