Multiple award-winning Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Eugene Kwame Marfo, known by the stage name Kuami Eugene, has expressed his discontent with the bad treatment he constantly receives from some Ghanaians. 

The music star, who is known for his chart-topping hits and charismatic stage presence, took to social media to share his thoughts on the less-than-favorable treatment he has been experiencing, including social media trolls.

This comes after Ghanaian blogger, Zion Felix shared the Lynx Entertainment artiste’s performance at Black Sherif’s Zaama Disco concert which took place on December 21, 2023, on Instagram, where some people commented about Eugene’s choice of dressing.

While some netizens commended him for dressing well, others stated that his fashion choice to the program was not the best. Other commenters also asked whether it was the ‘Monica’ hitmaker who was performing or his look-alike.

The popular crooner who was unhappy after he read the comments under the post noted that some Ghanaians are bitter and it is only deliverance that can stop the envy and hate in the country.

Kuami Eugene replied: “Going through the comments and I can see how bitter some Ghanaians can be against their own people . The envy and hate in this country de3 agye deliverance.”
