Shatta Wale explains why he’s disappointed over venue clash with Stonebwoy for December concerts

Self-acclaimed “Dancehall King” Shatta Wale has expressed his disappointment at his arch rival, Stonebwoy for scheduling his annual concert on the same day as his “Freedom Wave Festival” at the same venue.

Shatta Wale and Medikal had announced a five-day festival, the “Freedom Wave Festival” from the 20th-25th December at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Days later after their announcement, Stonebwoy also announced his annual end of the year concert on the 22nd of December at the same venue.

The clash of dates has not sat down well with Shatta Wale, who has taken to his Facebook live to express his disappointment.

According to Shatta Wale in the video, he and his team have been having meetings to put in place to make sure their festival is a success.

However, they were prompted about the date clash and asked to leave the venue for Stonebwoy to do host his  concert while he (Shatta) and Medikal, host theirs next year.

He also alleged that the President’s daughter was behind helping Stonebwoy to secure the Accra Sports Stadium for his concert.
