Dr Cryme talks about New song, Personal branding and getting more shows

During an interview with RazaSwaggy on Asaase Cape Coast’s Rush Hour #celebchitchat segment, Mr Drew highlighted the benefits of participating in music competitions and talent shows.

He emphasized that these shows offer numerous opportunities for participants, providing them with exposure, publicity, and a platform to build a fan base.

The ‘Case’ hitmaker, who gained recognition after finishing as the first runner-up in season six of the MTN Hitmaker show in 2017, stressed the importance of these shows in shaping the careers of aspiring artists.

He also mentioned that the interaction with judges, industry stakeholders, and idols during these competitions can help participants establish valuable connections.

“The role of judges is to mould the participants into artists that can make impacts globally,, hence the seemingly harsh approach,” he said.

The Award-winning crooner further encouraged contestants to have faith in themselves and not be discouraged by the competition’s outcome, emphasizing that they can still achieve success regardless of the judges’ feedback.

“No matter what the judges say, you can still move on and excel in life,” he added.
