Sonnie Badu narrates how his song transformed a 25-year-experienced fetish priest into an Evangelist

Award-winning UK-based Ghanaian gospel singer/ songwriter has shared an amazing story about the transforming power of his music-

According to him, one of his songs profoundly affected a fetish priest and resulted in a major life transformation.

In a recent interview on Onua Fm, the ‘Wonder God’ singer recounted the story, revealing how the fetish priest was deeply moved by the message in the song.

“We went to UTV, when we got downstairs and I saw the video of a fetish priest who claimed he was asleep and he saw me on UTV and he ran to the place, he was on knees and according to him, he has practiced juju for 25 years, he went to Benin for his powers, he had a stick which he told me was a human leg, and in Ghana here he claimed nobody has power than he does, he held my hand and he was telling me the story, I have the video.

He continued; “he said he was watching TV to find business and I came with the song “My hope is built on nothing less”, and he fell down immediately with his stick, he said his ranking is like an archbishop in the juju industry, he said he doesn’t know what happened, he had to go around asking people the kind of power Sonnie Badu has, he said he went around Benin, traveling to know but he didn’t find any answers and he gave his life to Christ, he is now an Evangelist”, he narrated.
