A LITTLE INFORMATION ON THE LEADER OF THE OMANYE ROYALS; QUEEN VICKYLESTAR
Queen Vickylextar was born in Accra but ended up having most her adult life in Europe and North America. She is a direct descendant of Nii Nortei Ababio and of the Dowuona Owuo Royal Family of Osu, (Tsuishitoo aboo) . Nii Nortei Ababio in 1852 was instrumental in the resistance movement against the colonial powers when they tried to impose a Poll Tax in Accra. The family has reigned in both Osu in Accra and Anfuega in the Volta region.
Queen Vickylextar holds a Ph.D in Psychology. Among her areas of unique impact is in dealing with split personality disorders. She is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist with a passion for human development.
Omanye has been in existence for a while now but mostly worked behind the scenes in various capacities.
The role of Queen Vickylextar in Omanye was a result of an acclaim by people from various backgrounds and cultures who recognize her royalty and leadership qualities, thereby came together to recognize her as the queen she is . This eventually led to the constitution of Omanye Royal Kingdom. Though named using a Ga word, Omanye is multinational and multicultural and probably the first of its kind. The Royal Family Council and Executives, which serves as advisory and planning committee reflects the diversity of Omanye. Based on the principle of having people from all walks of life come together to promote philanthropy as well as foster business opportunities in various communities, Omanye seeks to keep to its simple focus of bridging barriers in a very polarized world for a common good. Omanye means good tidings, good success and victory.
