Celebrated Ghanaian media personality, Afia Pokua, well known in the media space as ‘Vim Lady’, has condemned the attacks on Nana Ama McBrown by some of her colleagues at Despite Media.

Vim lady in a Facebook post on Monday, March 13 asserted that the attacks by some workers of the above-mentioned media firm was not cool and gives the firm a bad corporate Image.

The head of programs at despite media made known that a job is a contract to exchange skills or talent for salary and that no one is doing anyone any favour by employing them. Afia Pokua further opined that a contract can be repudiated or abrogated at any time.

‘‘The same way me, Abeiku Santana, Kofi Kum Bilson and Obiyaa left Multimedia to join Despite Media, someone can leave and join another company. It is just a job,’’ she emphasized.

The versatile media diva in the post revealed that the owners of Despite Media are okay with Mcbrown moving to Onua TV, but the disciples (some workers) are just shouting and attacking their former colleague to gain favour from their bosses.

“The OWNERS OF DESPITE MEDIA are okay with McBrown but the disciples are always shouting to gain favor from the bosses. Did McBrown not increase our viewership too? Or did you give her the acting talent too? Do we see football teams attacking players when they change teams?’’ she quizzed.

Vim lady urged her colleagues to desist from such acts as it does not speak well of the media firm.
