#TheSarkEffect: Chance The Rapper hints on visiting Ghana this year

American rapper, Chance The Rapper could be visiting Ghana this year.

The rapper in a recent tweet hinted on taking a trip to the motherland for the first time.

”YEAR OF THE RETURN #GHANA #HipHopAwards19” he wrote.

His comments come after Ghana’s best rapper Sarkodie picked up the Best International Flow award at the recently held BET hip hop awards and delivered a speech inviting black natives in the US to visit Ghana for ‘the year of return’.

“I just want to say thank you to the Almighty God. To my family, this one is for my lil girl Titi…. I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time.

This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home. When you’re coming to Africa, choose Ghana.” Sarkodie said in his acceptance speech.
