Several known faces from Nigeria’s entertainment industry were seen at the champagne popping event, to show their support for their compatriot.

The celebrities spotted on the night include Gideon Okeke, Kunle Coker, Ajibade Gbenro  Emmanuel (who bears a striking resemblance with Uti) and others stars from the hit Nigerian soup, ‘Tinsel’.  Others included Mike Magic, and top Nigerian models, Boma Martins Akpore and Kenneth Okolie.

Uti was clearly happy to receive such a hearty welcome home. Although in a recent phone conversation, the Big Brother star hinted that it wasn’t clear how he was going to put his money to use, he hinted that he would immediately resume work on his music album. Perhaps most of the $200,000 prize money would be invested in that direction. Whichever way he chooses to invest his winnings, surely the many friends and loved ones that welcomed him back home would be there to show him their support.
