Ghana’s VIP and R2bees will be competing with the likes of Cabo Snoop (Angola), Liquid Deep (South Africa), and Freshly Ground (South Africa) for the non-Nigerian category, African Artist of the Year at the 2011 Hiphop World Awards known as the Headies.
Meanwhile, it appears there would be a strong contention for honours between label mates M.I and Iceprince this year as they popped up in the most nominations alongside the likes of 2face Idibia, Wizkid, Darey, Dr Sid and others. The nominations were revealed Tuesday afternoon in Nigeria. The full list of nominees is as follows:
