#WalkWithMe: Meet John the physically challenged shoe-maker
#WalkWithMe is a campaign for John, The Shoe Maker. John Nkwanhia is a disabled but passionate young man who has dreams of having his own shoe business and employing other disabled individuals like him.
In life, John has been through many hardships but has never failed to be a happy, generous, hardworking, and a God-fearing man.
His trials and tribulations have caught the attention of some individuals who decided to put their collective efforts to aid him.
These individuals have taken care of John’s well-being, filmed a documentary on his life, taken him for medical review at Focos Orthopedic, trained his craft of shoemaking, and created a GoFundMe campaign to support John’s dream.
The plan of this #WalkWithMe Campaign to help John to have access to the best medical attention; perfect his craft of shoemaking under the leadership of HTW & Horseman Shoes; build a shop and begin manufacturing shoes/sandals for the Ghana Free SHS program; develop an exportable shoe brand; and construct a shoe factory in one of the 10 Regions and employ other disabled and able-bodied people.
John is a unique and outstanding individual and we would like to showcase him, along with his shoes to the world. It’s with this mission that we humbly request for your support and donation.
