Watch: Akuapem Poloo speaks on her sentence, thanks Ghanaian celebrities for their support

Actress Akuapem Poloo, born Rosemond Brown has made her first public appearance after she was handed a 90 days jail sentence by the Accra Circuit Court over naked pictures with her 7-year-old son.

In a video she posted on her verified Instagram page,  the actress expressed her gratitude to everybody supporting her in this trying time.

She thanked Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Reggie Rockstone, DKB and other Ghanaian celebrities who have added their voice in campaigning for her to be freed.

According to the mother of one, “sometimes in life you have to pass through somethings to make you strong to get you somewhere, I know it’s a test I have to go through I’m strong and you guys know all I need is your prayers and your support your girl will be back with you guys” she said.
