Ghanaian rapper, Lousika has revealed that even though she and rapper Sarkodie have worked together amicably in the past, he has rejected her twice after she got married and her career stalled.
Speaking in an interview with NYDJ, the ‘Boss chic’ hit maker stated that after she got married and gave birth, a lot of artists started drifting away from her.
According to her, anytime she contacted some of them, they gave excuses upon excuses.
When asked to mention on of those artists who pushed her away, she boldly mentioned Sarkodie.
“I don’t really force people. After I got married people didn’t want to work for me. Sometime ago, before me dropping a song with Shatta Wale, I sent a message to Sark, I never got a response till date. After dropping some tunes I contacted him again and I still didn’t get any response. I don’t know why, she said.
Lousika went ahead to mention two artists who have stayed with her all through.
“Mr. Eazi has remained humble and still will always do stuff for me when I ask them…Edem is the realest guy in the game. Even though the hype is no longer there, Edem is always there. Even when i need him to something for me, he’s always there,” she added.
Lousika came into the game a few years ago, securing her spot as the top female rapper in the country. Her career, however stalled after she got married and started her family.
She is however back and working on some new projects that she would be releasing soon.
