Watch: Mr Drew calls out Kuami Eugene for multiple song theft

Ghanaian Afrobeat singer and dancer Mr Drew has hit back at Kuami Eugene accusing him of multiple song theft throughout his career.

Highly Spiritual Music signee in an interview on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda with Sammy Flex,  accused Kuami Eugene of commenting on his Instagram post to insinuate that he stole his new song ‘This Year’ from another song. An accusation he claims to be false.

Reacting to Kuami Eugene’s action, Mr Drew stated that Kuami Eugene steals songs more than he does.

Mr Drew angrily stated that Kuami Eugene stole “Confusion” and the “Will You” from other artists and has no moral grounds to accuse him.

He said: “Plenty they (song theft) but we are not accusing him. One last too dey, my guy Shade performed “Ohemaa” on MTN Hitmaker in 2017, and Kuami released it in 2019. Imagine!”

According to some Ghanaians and Kuami Eugene, Mr Drew`s “This Year” song is a stolen song that was sampled from “No Dulling” by Keche.
