Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Davido says when he and his wife, Chioma found out they were going to have twins, they were in a state of panic.

Last week, news of Davido and Chioma welcoming twins was shared widely on social media. Later in the week, a video confirming the news was released, and fans welcomed the news with prayers and congratulatory messages.

In a new interview, Davido shared that when he and Chioma found out they were having twins, they were literally shaking.

“When me and my wife found out, we were shaking and it was in the same month, my son passed last year October, my wife gave birth this year October”, he stated.

The loss of his son, Ifeanyi back in October 2022 left an indelible mark on him, and according to Davido, he almost lost faith in God. However, he held on to his faith, and continued to do what he loves.

“It’s very hard, a lot of people those things happen to, you’ll never want to believe in God ever in your life.

“But to still have faith, and be still able do what I love, having a great team around me and just focusing, now we are almost at the finish line and  it’s a story I want people to see,” he added.
