Why I am still single – Ini Edo

Award-winning Nigerian actress, Iniobong Edo Ekim, widely known as Ini Edo has recently opened up about her single life, citing that she cannot be in a toxic relationship.

In a recent interview on the Toke Moments podcast, the famous Nollywood actress revealed that she believes a man should command respect.

“I still believe that as a man, you should be able to command respect. I’m single because I’ll just want something that will really love me, loving somebody I think has two different things, you can love someone and you are not ready to be a committed person”.

Ini Edo to a further extent divulged that she wants a man she can have respect for. “And my point is, maybe this is why I am still single, I can’t be in a toxic relationship, if you cannot give me that protective energy that allows me to respect you, and I cannot be with a man I cannot respect, if you cannot earn my respect then we cannot be together because what’s the point”, she added.
