DSC 0086YFM rocked Accra last Saturday with its maiden ‘Loud in Ghana Concert’, attracting thousands of young and vibrant Ghanaians  to the Dome of the Accra International Conference Center.  The Hiplife concert brought together Ghana’s finest artistes including award-winning Samini, Becca, 5five, Sarkodie, Eazzy, Trigmatic, VIP, Tinny, Richie, D Black, Ayigbe Edem and many others. Together with some of the nation’s finest DJs, DJ Killer Fingers, DJ Champagne and DJ Kess all of YFM, the artistes dazzled the audience with invigorating and exciting performances that left them yearning for more, until the early hours of the next morning.

According to Ms Brooke Nuwati, Corporate Communications Manager of Global Media Alliance, “we were amazed at the turn out. We knew it was going to be a successful event but not to this magnitude, considering the fact that this was our maiden edition. YFM and the entire Global Media Alliance family are happy and gratified. The next edition will be bigger and we may have to look around for a bigger venue to contain the numbers.

Mr. George Brun Station Manager of Y 107.9FM also added that, “we gave Ghanaians a taste of the refreshing Y experience. The Loud in GH concert is part of our Christmas package to our listeners and fans. We brought Ghana alive through good music and performances. We are ready to step up the game as we usher in the New Year. Keep tuned in to Y107.9FM for more pleasant surprises.
