Young Quez
Arkansas rapper Young Quez has just shared his new video single “Keep It 1Hunnit”, along with the announcement that his new project Still the Realist is set for release on 7/5Young Quez has been steadily grinding in the Hip-Hop scene since 2018, releasing three full-length projects and several impressively commanding singles along the way, including a monstrous collaboration with Chicago rapper G Herbo last year – in the process, Young Quez has carved out his own lane and become a stand-out addition to the quickly-blooming Arkansas Hip-Hop scene. Throughout 2023 thus far, Young Quez has been steadily working to bring his momentum up a notch through a steady release of singles riddled with street tales matched with his vitalizing lyrics and flows – on his new single “Keep It 1Hunnit”, which serves as his sixth release of the year, Young Quez is expanding upon his distinct street-heavy sound while flexing his knack for tight-knit bar work and imaginative flexing.

Proudly hailing from Arkansas, Young Quez is only two hours away from the fiery Memphis scene – although he pulls influence from their double-time flows and emphasis on staunchly-delivered punchlines, he’s created a sound that he’s able to claim as uniquely his own. On Young Quez‘s new single “Keep It 1Hunnit”, he’s continuing to elevate all of these stand-out characteristics to new heights – with his spirited energy and poignant bars on full display, he immediately sets the tone with his infectious energy. “$50K ain’t shit, I hit the city, blew that in a day“, he raps confidently in the opening verse, immediately acknowledging his ascension. Poised to continue his momentum emphasized by last year’s collaboration with G Herbo on “Big Brother”, “Keep It 1Hunnit” is just the latest in a monumental string of recently-released singles from the Arkansas stand-out, following up boastful bangers like “Rockstar” & “Run It Up”, as well as the defiant “My City”. With his signature Southern flair on full display, Young Quez is aiming to put his state on the map and simultaneously continuing to feed the streets with his signature sound full of street sermons and soulful reflections.
