President-Elect Joe Biden took a dose of covid-19 vaccine on live Tv to convince Americans the Vaccine is safe

President-elect Joe Biden on Monday, December 21, received his dose of the covid-19 vaccine on live television to create impression in the minds of American people that, they are safe with the newly approved Pfizer vaccine for covid-19.

The president-elect took his dose of the vaccine at a hospital not far from their home in Delaware, hours after his spouse, Jill Biden had taken her dose.

Currently, there is also a newly produced vaccine by Moderna, which is reported to arrive in the U.S. soon. Since the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic, over 326,000 Americans have lost their lives.

“I’m doing this to demonstrate that people should be prepared when it’s available to take the vaccine. There’s nothing to worry about,” Joe Biden said as he took a dose of the vaccine.

The president-elect commended the health care workers, and added that President Donald Trump’s administration “deserves some credit getting this off the ground.”

He also urged Americans to continue adhering to the safety protocols, and avoid making unnecessary travels to help combat the virus.

The President-elect and wife are not the only top officials to have taken the vaccine, other top government officials have in last week, taken a dose of the covid-19 vaccine.
