The Pharaohs of Egypt will not be making a showing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The seven-times champions of Africa crashed out from what has been termed as a replay of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations final.

Again, a penalty shootout was needed to separate the two sides. Boulaye Dia scored in the fourth minute as Senegal won the second leg 1-0 for a 1-1 aggregate draw at the new Diamniadio Olympic Stadium.

Sadio Mane then delivered the winning spot kick as Senegal edged Egypt 3-1 on penalties at the end of a tempestuous second leg in Dakar.

According to EA Game’s list of top fan favorite national teams, the Egyptian team is amongst the lowest ranked in the gaming world. Crashing out of Qatar 2022 will surely not improve its fortunes.OmarBarca10, an Egyptian football fan left a comment on EA forum telling EA sports add Al Ahly SC and Zamalek SC in FIFA 21. He argued that ” You can’t call FIFA 21 the world’s game when the two biggest teams in a continent huge like Africa are not in the game, this is devastating not only for Egyptian fans but for all Africans who love your game and wanted to actually be the world’s game.”

However, the country with its rich culture and history has been getting some shine through games like Book of Ra 10. Book of Ra is an exciting and visually stimulating slot game based on Ancient Egypt and the Pyramids. When you play this amazing game, you can travel to Ancient Egypt. There are free spins and all kinds of extras, which is why it’s now one of the most popular slot games of all time.

Mega Moolah is one of the all-time favorite slot games in casinos everywhere, but the Book of Ra is not far behind and is rapidly closing the gap. Players new and old are loving the ancient Egyptian theme. The user interface of this game is designed to be incredibly fluid. Animations are pleasant to see, and the entire graphics are easy on the eyes.

Egypt has qualified for the FIFA World Cup on three occasions, in 1934, 1990 and 2018. With 2 draws and 5 losses, Egypt has never won a match in the World Cup finals. In 1934 Egypt became the first African team to play in the World Cup. When they qualified again in 1990, they became the team with the longest-ever gap between two FIFA World Cup matches: 56 years and 16 days had passed.

Senegal has appeared in the finals of the FIFA World Cup on two occasions, in 2002 where they reached the quarter finals, and in 2018. They were the first team in World Cup history to be eliminated using the fair play rule after being tied with Japan on the first six tiebreakers. Qatar 2022 would be the country’s third appearance.
