The series Madam Secretary stars Téa Leoni as Elizabeth McCord, the Secretary of State for the United States Government, who later became the first female president of the United States. The final series chronicles Elizabeth’s (Téa Leoni) experiences as the first female President of the United States.

In a quest to bring audiences the best of premium entertainment this season of social distancing, isolation and staying at home, DStv has launched a new pop-up channel, M-Net Binge – The Home of HBO. The channel will feature the best HBO series, movies and doccies from the last decade. The musical journey is still on for some of Africa’s most talented groups as they sing their way to a grand prize of $usd100 000. At the end of this episode one more group will be going home. Amazing Voicesshows every Sunday at 3pm on AfricaMagic Family Ch 154 and it features Elikem Kumordzi as a co-host,Trigmatic as a judge and three Ghanaian groups in the competition aiming to win the grand prize.
It was a tensed and emotional Sunday night that saw the check-out of JayKech (Jay and Nkechi) from Ultimate Love, proudly Naija reality television show.
The couple were the fourth couple to be checked out during the Sunday live show after they received the least number of votes out of the four nominated couples from the voting public last week. They, however, left smiling home with N 500,000 and other items in their portmanteau they got in the Love Pad after playing the Jeopardy game on stage.
Meanwhile, five couples were nominated for possible check-out during the live nomination show on Sunday.
The couples with the least number of votes will be evicted during the live check-out show next Sunday.
Adesuwa Onyenokwe, the show’s Aunty, however, announced a new twist to the show. Unlike the past weeks, she revealed to the Love Guests that none of the nominated couples will neither be performing the Monday real-world mission task, nor will she save any of them.
Aunty also disclosed that, henceforth, she will no longer visit the Love Pad and the weekly Masterclasses have been concluded as the last two weeks of the show has been designed for the couples to further strengthen their relationships. She, however, noted that she will continue to communicate with the Love Guests through the domiciled Love Pad tablet.

The drama continues on new Bollywood series Jodha Akbar as Jodha and Ruqaiya cross each other’s way. Bairam Khan leaves for pilgrimage as Jalal declared him a rebel. Jodha’s marriage preparations continue. Maham Anga successfully makes some moves to get the minister’s position. Follow the unfolding drama at 7pm daily on Zee World Ch 166.

2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) to air LIVE on DStv
MTV has announced the 2024 “VMAs” will make its return to New York on Tuesday, September 10th at the UBS Arena. Airing LIVE on MTV, DStv Channel 130 on Wednesday, 11 September at 1:00am WAT and 2:00am CAT around the world in more than 150 countries. This year’s global fan-filled phenomenon will celebrate the best music videos of the past year with supersized performances, epic tributes, and unforgettable appearances from the world’s biggest celebrities.
“We’re excited to bring this year’s VMAs to UBS Arena, one of the country’s newest and most cutting edge venues,” said Bruce Gillmer, President of Music, Music Talent, Programming & Events, Paramount and Chief Content Officer, Music, Paramount+. “Celebrating one of music’s biggest nights with the incredible, robust New York area fans is something we’ve been looking forward to since the moment last year’s show ended.”
