Bob Fitts for 2012 Harvest Praise
The much awaited family praise known for touching hearts and winning souls into the Kingdom of God has officially been launched at a colourful ceremony at the plush Novotel in Accra. Many individuals will join in the celebration of God’s Amazing grace during the Easter season at the National Theatre. Harvest Praise 2012, which is the 14th edition, guarantees an uplifting, soul-soothing and body moving night of music, drama and dance. Launching this year’s edition of Harvest Praise, Reverend Fitzgerald Odonkor, President of Harvest International Ministries, organizers of Harvest Praise, stressed that ‘God’s has made His grace available to us to use it for the one purpose that binds us all – to evangelize to the world and populate His Kingdom. This is the purpose of Harvest Praise – to win souls for Christ and to extend the love of God to humanity. God is the very embodiment of Love. It is God’s love for us that drove Him to give His life for us. We are God’s representatives here on earth and so it our duty to extend that love to those who need it’. On his part, Chairman of Harvest Praise, Daniel Adjei elaborated on the purpose of the event. He explained that ‘since its inception in 1998, Harvest Praise has raised funds to also support orphanages which they have also adopted in collaboration with Citi FM. This year, ‘we hope to also provide support to a Rehabilitation Centre with people struggling with drug addiction’. He added that ‘in years to come the Harvest Praise hope to be on the Tourism Calendar of Ghana where more people would travel far and wide to worship and praise together’. Harvest Praise has seen many gospel artistes and groups like Cecilia Marfo, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Ohemaa Mercy, Bob Fitts, the Harvest Choir and the Harvest Theatre. This year and every good Friday to come, Harvest Praise promises the general public not just a good but a fortifying time with friends, family, and loved ones. Harvest Praise is truly a family experience and has been running for the past 13 years. This year’s edition promises to be another refreshing moment in the presence of God for families and individuals. Sponsors of this year’s edition of Harvest Praise include MTN, Citi FM, Multi TV, Sunny FM, Sweet Melodies, Graphic Communications Group, Best Western, Unibank, Ecobank, First Capital Plus and PlanIt Ghana among others.]]>
