Building a national cathedral is a misplaced priority – Samini



Multiple award-winning Ghanaian reggae/ dancehall musician, Samini has shared his opinion on the building of a national cathedral by the government of Ghana.

In a recent appearance on “The Day Show” with Berla Mundi, the ‘My Own’ singer referred to the decision as a case of “misplaced priority.”

“I am a person that does not buy into the idea of building a National cathedral, it’s purely misplaced priority,” he said.

He highlighted that committing resources for the building of a national cathedral was ill-advised at a time when the nation needed to concentrate on establishing its priorities correctly to confront the ongoing economic issues.
