Throughout the evening, attendees had the opportunity to savor the complexity of Hungarian wines, from the bold and robust reds to the crisp and refreshing whites, guided by knowledgeable sommeliers who shared insights into Hungary’s winemaking traditions and terroir.

Speaking at the event, the Ambassador of Hungary to Ghana, Tamas Endre Feher made known that wine has been a key export product and sustenance for the country’s citizens.

”Today, Hungary is one of the major wine producers globally, with a total of 22 wine regions,” he said.

Beyond the culinary delights, the event served as a cultural exchange, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Ghanaian cuisine while fostering connections and forging new friendships.

Gizella Akushika Tetteh-Agbotui, Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya West said, ”Friendships like this are reciprocal sure and so much as we are promoting made-in-Hungary product and businesses in Ghana the GIPC and the other Investment Partners would also be able to promote made-in-Ghana businesses and products as well in Hungary.”
