Davido trends after missing World Cup Opening

The 2022 FIFA World Cup has opened in a spectacular style in host country, Qatar.
Although there were some spectacular musical performances by Jungkook of K-pop megastars BTS who debuted his new single solo single “Dreamers” alongside Qatari singer Fahad Al-Kubaisi, fans of Davido missed him on the stage.
The Nigerian superstar was expected to perform the original World Cup soundtrack, “Hayya Hayya” (Better Together) with Trinidad Cardona, and Aisha.

However, due to the unfortunate incident involving the loss of his 3-year-old son in a drowning accident, Davido could not make it to the big stage.
Fans of the “IF” hitmaker has since taken to social media to express their sadness about his absence on the World Cup stage.
Davido would’ve showed up & showed out at the World Cup today, history would’ve been made, his performance would’ve shown the world why he is the Biggest Afrobeats Artist of all time.

The World Cup opening with Davido performing is something I was looking out for but things happen. We don’t have control over.
I pray he comes out finer, saner & better.
A Better Time ahead. Stay strong @davido.
We hope to see him live at Adeleke’s swearing in in Osun. pic.twitter.com/pCxcPTs4Xs— President Eniola Daniel (@UnlimitedEniola) November 19, 2022
