Elorm Anyadi wins maiden edition of Male Icon Ghana

A 20 year second year student of the Central University College, Elorm Anyadi  was recently adjudged winner of the maiden edition of the Male Icon Ghana intellectual at a ceremony at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra.

Dubbed ‘the search for the perfect gentleman’, the four-round finale saw all nine delegates do a presentation about their encounters with their celebrity mentors after which they answered questions from the, actress and entrepreneur, Ebi Bright.    A talent segment and a fashion show dubbed ‘cover boy’ tested delegate’s creativity, fashion and dress sense respectively after which the finalists were reduced to five.

The Top 5 included Elorm Anyadi of Central University, Mosore Mosorezor of the University of Ghana, Sylvanus Bedzrah, a writer, Anthony Woode, an Actor and Adu Gyamfi Jr. of Takoradi Polytechnic. The finalist then had to convince the audience and judges why they should be adjudged the winner of the competition. At the end of it all, it Elorm seemed to have captured the attention of the judges and audience alike and thus declared winner. He was followed by Sylvanus and Mosore as the first and second runners up respectively.

Special awards like male photogenic went to Anthony Woode, male eloquence to Sylvanus and male personality to Elorm. So who is saying this elorm boy seemed to have captured the attention of the judges and audience alike and thus declared winner? Ahhhhh!!!! Were you there or you were just doing copy and pate or you are writing what you have been told to write?
Did you see this boy’s poor perfomances? … not to talk of his already fading out attire for his cover boy whatever? I was one of the disappointed funs on the night. I went there not to support anybody I know but at the end of it all, the sylvanus guy deserved to win! He was virtually on top of his performances.
Shame to to the organisers, infact to the judges rather.

Seriously, this is just another injustice. Instead of these organisers proving to us that they are not corrupt like how other other contest have been tagged, they also decided to go the way of the others by making someone who does NOT deserve to win. That elorm guy did nothing winning on the night to win. I was there and and if you talk to those present, they will comfirm to you that, Sylvanus deserved to win. He put up all the winning performances but he was obviously robbed.
This just remind me of the case of Agbeko’s last fight.
I am very much disappointed in the judges and those who twisted the justice. I am forced to congratulate him but I must add that he NEVER deserve it. If you got your winner planned already, then why did you organise the finale? Very annoying!!!
