It seems that actress Jackie Appiah has had a busy and exciting year so far filming and touring the world. After attending the F.A.C.E (Fascinating Africans Committed to Excellence) List Awards in New York in March, the actress continued her visit to the US with an exciting visit to Hollywood, as well as attending parties and meeting fans in Atlanta Georgia and Virginia.

In New York, Jackie stayed at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square where she was three rooms away from Kamla Persad-Bissessar, Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The Prime Minister on hearing that there was a Ghanaian star actress in the hotel invited Jackie over for a tête-à-tête as well as a photo opportunity for the both of them.  The star actress was also spotted shopping for clothes and more clothes in New York before she jetted to Los Angeles, Hollywood.

In Hollywood, Jackie visited Universal Studios where she went on the set of Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster, ‘War of the Worlds’. She was spotted with some cast members of Universal Studio’s ‘Water World’.  Jackie also did the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where she was particularly drawn to the star of Jackie Chan for obvious reasons.

From Hollywood, the actress went to Atalnta where she attended a party in her honour and interacted with a throng of fans. She did same in Virginia before heading out to Dublin, Ireland. Some of the other highlights of her visit to the US included meeting hiphop star, Redman.  She has since returned to Ghana, where she is currently filming in Kasoa
