The two were joined by actress/TV host, Joselyn Dumas; former Miss Ghana Inna Patty; and broadcaster, Shamima Muslim in a show-stopping celebrity catwalk finale at the event.

Zain’s attire designed by Rima Fahrky was auctioned at 400 USD. When the MC for the ceremony, Anita Erskine asked Zain to quote the initial bidding prize for his apparel, he responded with 50 dollars although all the previous biddings before were done in cedis. The main fashion show featured collections from Mina Evans, K’Naf Couture, Brigitte Merki, ReneeQ and Rima Fahrky modeled by students, parents and school officials from the German-Swiss International School. Gretchen Krantz Evans, a parent and member of the Board of Directors for the school stated that the proceeds from the event would be donated to support refugee that fled Ivory Coast during the political crisis that saw thousands being displaced and killed. The donations would be made to the refugees via the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Ivory Coast has been plagued by civil war after a disputed election which led Laurent Gbagbo to hold on to power, rejecting election results as well as diplomats’ efforts to end power struggle.
