The GUBA Awards USA was held on Thursday, 26th September, 2019 at Taj Pierre, New York with awards going out to individuals and organisations that have excelled in their various fields.

The event saw attendance and performances from the likes of Samini, Sarkodie, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Danny Glover. The president and First lady of Ghana were the special guests on the night.

Awards were presented to distinguished Ghanaian individuals and organizations for their achievements in multiple categories, including:

Kwame Akoto-Bamfo for Influential Artist of the Year

Dr. Ave Kludze for Innovation in Science & Technology
Ghana Physicians & Surgeons Foundation for Ghanaian Association of the Year

Black Star Awards were given to accomplished honorees celebrating their accomplishments, including:
