Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo has lost her home to fire.

The actress shared that her home and its entire belongings has been gutted down by the fire.

Although she’s yet to share the cause of the fire, Beverly laments the manner in which the Ghana National Fire Service attended to her emergency.

According to Beverly, although the Fire Service got to her burning house on time, they couldn’t salvage the situation because they were ill-prepared.

“The fire service got there on time but for over 40 minutes they couldn’t go inside because of the heavy smoke. I was wondering why they don’t have protective gear for smoke. They stood there deliberating and another came that was the worse, they had to use a generator but it couldn’t start which also took a while. Then another came and used my neighbors house to the back of the house and started putting it off but it was too late,” she shared on her Instagram.

The award-winning actress added; “My mum, the kids nanny, the kids and I are left with nothing.”

Beverly however, urged Ghanaians to put politics aside and tackle the ills in our systems.

“This country, let’s stop doing partisan politics and set out priorities right and stop the misplaced priorities. Ghana hmm,” she added.
