Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo has asked that people stop contributing to the GoFundMe and Momo accounts created by her fellow actresses after her home completely burnt down to ashes last week.

The incident, as shared by Beverly on her Instagram page, happened on August 9th 2021. According to her, the entire house with everything in it, burnt to ashes.

After she shared the news on her social media, her management was inundated with calls from fans, well-wishers, and colleagues in the industry, many of whom have expressed willingness to offer support to the actress.  Hence account numbers were added to a press release after a consensus, for all and sundry who wanted to make donations to aid the actress to recover from this tragic loss.

However, some social media users trolled and attacked Beverly for creating a GoFundMe account to raise funds.

Reacting to these attacks, the actress has called on people to seize donation money to the created accounts and thanked her fellow actresses who genuinely supported her.
