Published

on

Very few African female singers branch into the ragga/dancehall genre and the young and sassy Nigerian singer, Miz Gold is one of the few. The R&B and Ragga singer/songwriter/dancer/model, who is signed to Zome Record label, has followed her hugely successful first single, ‘I Love The Way’, with a new pulsating dancehall number titled, ‘Tinka Tinka’. Earlier in the year, Miz Gold released her first single and video ‘I Love the Way’ which was shot in Ghana and taken from the burgeoning Man-Zomi album. She recently returned to Ghana to promote her latest single and video, ‘Tinka Tinka’ shot by Patrick Elis in Lagos. She describes her music as a celebration of love which everyone can relate with. “I do ragga and R&B and music carries various message. ‘I Love the Way’ was an emotional music about love. When I do dancehall, I make people dance. ‘Tinka Tinka’ which is slang for tickle tickle is a fun loving song about anyone who makes you feel good; it could be your lover, friend or family” Mz Gold plans to cut her next single ‘More’ in the UK which is the last before her album is released. She also plans to work on some collaboration in Jamaica before heading to the US to complete her plans for 2012. She concludes: “Africa should expect something different from me and I am ready to give off my best.” Download Tinka Tinka]]>
