I cried at the end of every month when I couldn’t get pregnant- Diana Hamilton

#VGMA20: Diana Hamilton apologizes for missed performance.

Ghanaian Gospel musician, Diana Hamilton has revealed the emotional trauma she went through while hoping to conceive.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Award-winning artist, who had to wait for almost six years before welcoming her first child, revealed in a recent interview that she cried at the end of every month, when results showed that she had not conceived.

“I cried at the end of every month when I was hopeful and it didn’t happen. Like a Christian, you don’t cry like an unbeliever, you cry as somebody who has hope. If you don’t cry, then you’re being a hypocrite. So I cried, but I trusted God and, when God did it, it was a miracle,” she told Roselyn Felli on Prime Morning.

Diana also addressed rumours about her having to go through IVF to conceive stating;

“When God blesses you with a child, you just have to give praises to him. I like to say this, this is a question I’ve heard other people being asked and I’m like God grants people the knowledge to do things, and when God does a miracle let’s not be quick to downplay a miracle that God has done because he uses different things and different people to workmen our lives.”

Diana is now blessed with a set of twins, Michaela and Michael with her husband, Dr. Joseph Hamilton.
