I Get Hurt When People Refer To Me As An Old Musician- Piesie Esther laments
Sensational Ghanaian Gospel artiste, Esther Asiedu, popularly known as Piesie Esther, has registered her dislike of being referred to as an old musician.
The ‘Ziba’ crooner explained that there is nothing like an old musician because there is no retirement date for musicians especially somebody like her who is still active in the industry.
Piesie Esther made this statement during an interview on Kingdom Fm when asked if she feels hurt when people refer to her as an old musician.
“Of course, since we are humans, it will definitely hurt you, ” she responded.

Piesie Esther doubles as a song writer, and has been in the music fraternity for two decades with tens of hit songs to her credit. Some of her hit songs include Ziba, Okuraseni, Way3 me yiyie amongst.
At the moment, she’s enjoying massive airplay on radio, television and social media with her current hit song “Wa Ye Me Yie”, which has won her seven nominations at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
The song writer is tipped to win the ultimate award (Artiste of the year) on Saturday, May 6.
