Ghanaian musician, Reggie Zippy has taken to social media to express his frustration about not being able to see his kids.
Reggie, whose marriage to his ex-wife Edith Ward broke down about four months ago after 15 years of marriage shared a video on Instagram to ask to see his kids.
According to Reggie, he is close to giving up on the battle to see his own kids.
“For how long should a father continue trying to re-establish his relationship with his children after the breakdown of marriage? Because at this very moment, I am very close to giving up on this unfair battle and focusing on the next chapter of my life. I am only human and GOD knows how much I have tried to do right by my children, their mother and entire families both mum and dad sides,” he shared.
The award-winning musician declared to accept his loses and focus on his life if he is not allowed to see his kids before December 31st.
“If I don’t speak with my children by 31st DECEMBER 2023, I will accept my losses and consider myself as a DEADBEAT DAD from 2024 and beyond because even GOD KNOWS WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH SINCE January 2007 till date. I Love you DIOR🩷, I Love you NOLAN💙 and I Love IKHON❤️,” he added.

In a heartfelt and extensive post, the UK-based Ghanaian musician shared that he and Edith arrived at a joint decision to embark on separate paths, a conclusion that came after a protracted and challenging period of deliberation.
“Having spent 15 years as a married couple, Edith Ward and I have chosen to traverse divergent trajectories… This wasn’t a decision taken lightly; it emerged after thorough contemplation and mutual understanding,” Reggie revealed candidly.
Amid the life-altering transition, Reggie emphasized the enduring nature of their friendship, reaffirming their commitment to co-parenting their three children.
Barely weeks after the announcement, the UK-based Ghanaian singer, shared a very intimate photo with an unidentified white woman on his Instagram announcing the his new love interest.
