I hope the Presidency grants me permission to shoot my next movie at the Jubilee House – Ama K Abebrese

Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Ama K. Abebrese has reacted to the controversy surrounding  Meek Mill’s music video shoot at Ghana’s Presidential Palace, the Jubilee House  in Accra.

On Sunday evening, the rapper posted his video teaser on his Instagram page of him touring the Jubilee House and rapping to new song lyrics.

Ghanaians on social media quickly expressed their disappointment at the Presidency for allowing Meek Mill to film at the Jubilee House.

Reacting to the video, Ama K stated that since the Jubilee House is opened to the general public and allows for commercial video shoots, she would love to shoot her next movie at the location.

‘‘I’m going to request to shoot scenes for my next movie at Jubilee House. I really hope that the office of the Presidency grants permission. Because if they don’t…’’, she tweeted.

Ama K also commended the Ghana Police strive for making uniforms and other props available to her anytime she need it for a movie production.

“I will commend the @GhPoliceService PRO team. Anytime we need uniforms and other apparels and equipment for movie shoots, and follow due process, they have usually been accommodating to productions I’ve worked one.
