Illegal acquisition of driving licenses causing lots of road accidents in Ghana – Kwaisey Pee

Award-winning Ghanaian Highlife musician, Kwasi Poku Addai, better known by the stage name Kwaisey Pee has expressed worry over the surge in road accidents in Ghana.

The ‘Mehia Odo’ hitmaker, while speaking in an exclusive interview on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall Show, attributed the disturbing issue to the illegal acquisition of driving licenses.

According to the renowned crooner, tightening the process for obtaining a license could significantly reduce accidents on the roads.

“its hard for you to hear about road accidents in abroad. Road accidents in abroad are minor accidents compared to that in Ghana. If I were the DVLA boss, no one would easily get a license. If I am able to curb that alone, I think it would curb lots of accidents” he stated.
