On a night of glitz and glamour to celebrate the wonderful artistry and heritage, Kwame Yogot took to the stage to thank his fans and the region for their unflinching love and support as he won the topmost award at the 2021 Edition of the Central Music Awards.

The event took place at the Centre for National Culture in Cape Coast which is the regional capital on the 26th of November with prominent industry players and fans from the region in attendance.

In an Instagram post, he alluded to the coincidental nature of winning the topmost awards, at the 10th edition of the event, crowning him with one of the biggest accolades, to give a graceful ending to 10 years of hard work, trying to gain mainstream attention, providing the perfect transition into a new path in his musical career.

Kwame Yogot ended the night on a high note, as he also won the Most Popular Song of the Year award for his chart topping chart Biibi Besi with Kuami Eugene. Upon receiving the award, he acknowledged the efforts Kuami Eugene put into making the song a nationwide hit and went on to dedicate the awards to his fans, the radio presenters, DJs and finally to his label and management team at Sky Entertainment.
