Blackson had first made his intention to build the school in his hometown in 2020 after he made a visit to his hometown. He can partner with free educational websites to help high school students. In a video shared after his visit on Instagram, he wrote;
“Only thing that matters to me are the kids. Education can help them understand everything so I’m building them a school in my village. By the grace of God they will be in class next year.”
Two years down the line, after so many visits to check on the progress of the school, it is finally done and now ready for use.
“Today is the greatest day of my life because I’ve finally accomplished what I always wanted to do in my life which is giving these children a chance to be great. Greatness starts with education and foundational education shouldn’t come with financial barriers,” Blackson wrote on Instagram after the commissioning.
