Speaking in an interview with King Lagazee on Asaase Radio’s Yaad Settingz, the ‘Kpok3k3 hitmaker divulged that, “As an artist who loves to be socially active, I don’t only use my music and voice, but I plan towards practicalising solutions to certain problems, but not everyone is obligated to do same.”
The award-winning music star, further asserted that it is important to value everyone’s life. “This does not mean that I have so much in abundance, but this is coming from the core that makes me human,” he said.
The crooner is known to have a strong stance against illegal mining, well known as “galamsey.” He has spoken against the pollution of the Pra River and its negative impact on water resources for some six communities along the river bank in the Shama district of the Western Region.
Through his Livingstone Foundation, Stonebwoy donated 40,000-liter capacity mechanised boreholes for four of the six communities. The boreholes serve eight communities with treated water and can be connected to individual homes.
