On Monday the 10^th of April 2023, the maiden edition of Kwahu Easter Comedy Show will come off at the Parish Hall, Nkawkaw in Kwahu.

This happens to be the first time a comedy show will be part of activities to mark the Kwahu Easter celebrations.

Some Comedians billed to perform at the event are Lekzy Decomic, O B Amponsah, Jeneral Ntatia among others.

As explained by Dennis Boateng, CEO of Creative Republic Ltd, the organisers of the event, he decided to put together a comedy show after realising that the lineup of activities of the Kwahu Easter celebrations had been without a touch of any comedy show.

Dennis asserted that, “Easter in Kwahu has always been flooded with concerts, so we are giving revellers a different type of entertainment as they enjoy the best comedy from the finest in the business.”

According to the Chief Executive Officer, the Kwaku Easter Comedy show event is also aimed at giving underground comedians in Kwahu an opportunity to showcase their talent.

“We have talents everywhere and this will be a perfect opportunity for any young comedian who resides in Kwaku and its environs to showcase their talent. And I would love to see our event grow and become an annual affair where patrons will come in their numbers and be treated to a good time by the comedians billed to perform”, he disclosed in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.
