‘Hustle’ is ReauBeau’s latest release, featuring Aristoteles on vocals. The single narrates his own challenges within the music industry as a focused and sober producer, while highlighting his inner child motivation and hopeful attitude to strive for exactly what you want. Listeners can’t help but notice the release’s nod to its deepest sonic inspiration: Jay Z’s late 90’s banger “Hard Knock Life”.
Dutch artist ReauBeau is one of the most exciting names in the future bass scene right now, dismantling clubby beats and expanding thick bass in atypical arrangements. He has released on Spinnin’ Records, Trap City Records, and Lowly Palace/Trap Nation to name a few, which made him grow extremely fast within a short period of time. His track ‘Dreams’ has been remixed by the mighty Tiësto, and he has received support from many of the great artists in the scene.
His funky, hip-hop-influenced productions are always spot on. With shows at festivals such as Tomorrowland, Run The Trap, Aalborg Festival & SXSW, ReauBeau has shown that he can play at major stages throughout the world. He has also been invited by the legendary Annie Nightingale for a guest mix on her show on BBC Radio 1 & Radio1Xtra, a true acknowledgement of his skills.
ReauBeau’s sonic journey started at the very roots of his present future bass undertakings. Due to a strong love for hip-hop during his formative years, his passion spurred into the restless fiddling and fine-tuning art of conveying finer (and often ineffable) emotions through the craft of composition. ReauBeau’s sound is a sobering, versatile blend of (future)bass and trap. His ambitions to cultivate a strong community within the scene begin with his intentions behind his past, present, and future releases: “I want to move people and make them emote – essentially painting a canvas or a movie scene in their imagination with music.”
Aristoteles is a promising artist and rapper from the Netherlands known for his retro hip hop sound on trappy beats. He previously received support from Los Angeles based channel Soulection. The release of his single ‘Jerry Maguire’ reached 1.8 million plays on Spotify. Since then he performed at one of Europe’s biggest urban festivals ‘Woohah’, toured in Europe with LA based rapper Hopsin as well as opened for hip hop legends such as Krs One and Freddie Gibbs.
