Award-winning Rapper, Sarkodie has thrown his support for C.E.O of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah’s bid to become Vice President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).
In an interview with Citi FM, the “Biibi ba” rapper said that he believes that Richie’s experience in managing artists makes him a fit to be given a leadership role by MUSIGA.
“He has been able to manage all these artistes and his career has been built on building people’s careers which is very hard so for him to have that heart and patience to be doing that, I think to take a leadership role is worth it,” Sarkodie said.
Richie and Sarkodie go a long way. The two have a mutual friendship and respect for each other.
It is therefore no surprise at all that the rapper is giving him his full support.
The MUSIGA elections is set for July, 2019 as the current management prepares to hand over the mantle.
Richie Mensah and Bessa Simmons are the only two people who have publicly announced their intentions for the Vice President and President positions respectively.
