sarkodie2Its official! After bagging several international awards and nominations, Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie will headline a campaign dubbed ‘YouKnowWhatTimeItIs’ in November which is aimed at promoting Sarkodie as a successful musical icon from Ghana. The campaign is expected to culminate in grand #YouKnowWhatTimeItIs concert at the University of Ghana on November 10.  This is expected to be a warmer to Sarkodie’s second ‘Rapperholic Concert’ which is rumoured to return this December.  The concert is expected to thrill Sarkodie fans, as the rapper will perform two exclusive songs on the night. Sarkodie is also expected to be joined by a top Nigerian musician. The intended concert shall be a reward to Sarkodie fans that share in his achievements, and are also inspired to achieve just as much as Sarkodie has done. The two-time Ghana Music Award Artist of the Year earlier this year won the BET Award for Best African Act and has nominations in the upcoming MOBO Awards and Channel O Awards.  He also recently bagged a National Youth Achievement Award and the Headies Award for Best African Act. Certainly when Sarkodie mentions his catchphrase, “You know what time it is” the crowd on the November 10 can respond “YouKnowWhatTimeItIs!” #YouKnowWhatTimeItIs is all about inspiring people to achieve their goals!]]>
