On January 19, 2003, Livingstone Etse Satekla, known in showbiz circles as Stonebwoy was involved in an accident that caused him his limbs.

Stonebwoy was in a vehicle with his father, twin brother and elderly sister on the way to Ashaiman from Accra when the unfortunate accident occurred on the Accra-Tema motorway.

The car crash left Stonebwoy in a hospital bed for six months, and although he recovered, his legs were affected.

Several years later after walking with a limp in his right leg, Stonebwoy flew to Germany to have the anomaly in his limb corrected in May 2016.

Seven years later after the surgery was performed, the BHIM Nation boss has revealed who bore the cost of the surgery.

In an appreciation tweet on Thursday, January 26, Stonewboy revealed that it was ex Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan who footed the bill of his surgery.

“@ASAMOAH_GYAN3 you came through for me around this same time 7 years on. You decided to take my surgery cost, I’m forever Grateful,” Stonebwoy tweeted.

Asamoah Gyan responded to the tweet stating that he was happy to be a part of Stonebwoy’s transformation.

“Oh woooow. 7 years already? 😳😳. I’m happy to be part of this. It’s all from the heart,” Asamoah Gyan replied.
