The buzz surrounding NSMQ makes me feel people appreciate the work I put into it- Prof. Kaufmann

Professor Elsie A. B. Effah Kaufmann, host of the popular National Science and Maths Quiz has stated that the positive feedback she has received over the years as the host of the show makes her happy.

Prof. Kaufmann, who is also the Dean of the Engineering faculty at the University of Ghana, started hosting the popular quiz show in the year 2006.

Since she took over the show, there has been a lot of buzz especially in the last 5 years.

In a recent interview on the Delay Show, Prof Kaufmann, who had no idea what the show was about until she was approached to take over in 2005, stated that seeing all the buzz makes her feel appreciated.

According to her, she takes whatever task she’s given seriously and is very happy when people appreciate it.

“Whatever I do in life, I give it my all. The buzz around the program makes me feel people appreciate the work I put into it,” she told Delay.
