Ghanaian Musician and Radio Presenter, Blakk Rasta has tagged all the award schemes in Ghana targeted at rewarding musicians for their hard work as fraudulent.

According to the “Our Africa” singer, the mode at which people have to select these musicians as winners in various categories does not sit well with him.

Blakk Rasta’s concerns come few days after the nominations for the 23rd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards were released.

“You see Abeiku when we started coming up, young guys full of energy, we all wanted the awards but when you look inside the awards right now, you’ll realize it’s all a fraud,” he said in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM.

“What kind of awards is it that before you win you have to vote so many times. One million have to vote before you take the award. What are you awarding?” he quizzed.

When asked by Abeiku Santana why he is questioning the voting process in Ghana when that was “the mechanism for most award schemes around the world?”

He replied; “it’s the mechanism of thievery and corruption and fraud. That’s what it is. They are all corrupt.”
