Ghanaian rapper, Elom Adablah popularly known as E.L has expressed thoughts on the kind of artistes who should be given support to project Ghana music internationally.

In a recent appearance on 3Music, ‘‘Big Convo’’, E.L disclosed that there has been some sort of mislead when it comes to giving attention and resources to the right artistes to promote Ghana music.

‘‘We are not giving enough priority, we are not giving enough resource to the right people and the people we are paying attention to I am sorry to say, most of the artistes who we are really paying attention to are not going to take Ghana music as far as we want them to’’, he said.

The ‘‘KOKO’’ hitmaker further revealed names of artistes he thinks should be given enough support and resources to promote their craft and project Ghana music.

‘‘The artists who are going to do it, I could name names, Worlasi, Bongo Blay, there are some artistes who are doing good and I’m happy to see it, Black Sherif, Gyakie and I’m glad to see it, we need more of that because that is what is going to take us there, period’’.

He continued; ‘‘All the other stuff we are paying attention to is not going to do it, we need to have a shift of that mindset that we want future stuff, we want to transcend, lets pay attention to these artistes, these artistes are going to get us there.

‘‘These artistes are our local sounds, they are our local brands’’, E.L concluded.
